Professional Stopping The Use of PKB
Professional Account Status
If your organisation stops using PKB, your login will be ‘deactivated.’ This means you can no longer access the PKB records of any patients that were on your team’s list. You will no longer be able to access or send messages through discussions or view any data that you’ve added to a patients PKB records.
If you have a professional account attached to other organisations or as an individual professional, you will still be able to log in to it and view the data it contains.
Future Use of Professional Logins
If you move to another care provider that uses PKB, then they can add you as a professional to their team.
Patient Discharge Requirements for Inactive Teams
PKB advise that, after patients are told that their teams are no longer using PKB, they are discharged from any PKB teams. A Professional within that team can do this. For more information on discharging a patient, click here.
