Feature updates
1. New document category
We now support a new document type category: Clinical support services. Users wishing to send this document type via HL7 should use the code CSS in the TXA segment. For more information, see our Code Sets Overview.
2. Immunisations link in navigation menu
We have updated the navigation menu used on small screens to include a link to the new Immunisations page.
3. Immunisations translation - Canadian
We have added translations for French (Canada) & English (Canada) for the new Immunisations page.
Bug fixes
1. National IDs on the patient search screen
We have resolved a bug on the patient search screen that caused the wrong national ID to show if it belonged to the same country as the team’s default national ID. Previously, the patient search screen would show any of the patient’s national IDs from the team’s country. Now, only the team’s default national ID will display in this field.

Feature updates
1. Updated message for unregistered users
We’ve updated the error message shown to unregistered patients after they click a link in an email notification to include a link to the registration page and instructions on how to register.
2. Timezones have been removed when adding data
We have removed the timezone marker (e.g. ‘Europe/London’) from pages where users enter a date and time, for example when manually adding a test result, appointment or journal entry. These have been removed because they were not always descriptive or accurate to where the user is geographically based.
3. Support for multiple identifiers for a country
We can now support multiple official identifiers at the country level. When creating a new team, a default identifier is chosen for the team from the list of supported options for that country.
As part of this update, we have added several new identifiers for Canada. A full list of these additions is available in our developer wiki.
Bug fixes
1. Frozen records registration issue
We have resolved a bug which caused unregistered patients' records which had been frozen to become unfrozen if the patient registered. The patient can now register, but their record remains frozen and they are prevented from logging in.

Feature updates
1. Update to 'Ask for access’ page
We have removed the section ‘Or enter invitation token' on the 'Ask for access’ page for patients or carers as this feature is no longer supported. For more details on sharing please see https://wiki.patientsknowbest.com/space/MAN/3624730683/Sharing.
2. Removal of placeholder text in phone fields
We have removed the placeholder text which appeared in telephone number fields to better reflect support for various formats and avoid format confusion.
3. Carers can now start advanced questionnaires on behalf of patients
Carers can now start an advanced questionnaire on behalf of a patient they care for. When the carer clicks ‘Start consultation’ within a record of a patient they care for, they will see a list of advanced questionnaires linked to the patient’s teams that match the privacy access that the carer has access to.
When a carer starts a questionnaire, they are recorded in the performer field on the ServiceRequest. When a carer completes a questionnaire, they are recorded in the author field on the QuestionnaireResponse.
4. Support for 'Days delay' on test results via FHIR Observation API
We have updated our FHIR Observation API to fully support the "days delay" rule for test results, ensuring we do not expose test values before the delay period has passed.
When retrieving the test result using the FHIR Observation endpoint the following logic applies for when a delay has been specified:
Days delay is NOT set.
The test value shows normally.
Days delay IS set, and the
effectiveDateTimeis far enough in the past to clear the delay window. The test value shows normally.
Days delay IS set, and the
effectiveDateTimeis today (or within the active delay window).Result: The test value is not shown.
Bug fixes & performance improvements
1. We’ve refined the CSS styling on the login error screens to correct colour inconsistencies.
2. Performance improvement on the QuestionnaireResponse endpoint when the _include parameter is used to include Patient resources

Feature updates
1. Documents accessed from NHS App

2. Removal of timeline from Events & Messages page
We have removed the timeline bar from the Events & Messages page to better align with the latest design and user experience improvements.
3. Authentication: Extended lockout coverage
Password lockout protections now apply when granting access to third-party apps. Following multiple failed login attempts, there is a mandatory wait period before you can try again. This ensures consistent account protection across all login methods.
Bug fixes
1. Patient timeline events now correctly display in the professional's local time zone
We have resolved an issue to ensure that patient timeline events are displayed in the professional’s local time zone, as defined in their profile.
2. Non-ASCII characters in coordinator email address invite
We have resolved an issue where the system would crash when an organisation administrator added a coordinator with a non-ASCII character in their email address. Now, a warning message correctly identifies the invalid email address when the invite button is clicked.
3. Events & Messages breadcrumb navigation update
We’ve updated the breadcrumb trail on the patient view of message threads within the Events & Messages page. The ‘Events & Messages’ breadcrumb is now a clickable hyperlink that takes user back to the main Events & Messages page for easier navigation.
