Finding the Medicines page
Understanding Medicines
Here we list all the medications that have been added to your record. For your current medications, we show the ones started most recently first. For past medications, we show the ones most recently stopped first.
Click a medication to show more details e.g. who entered the medication and when. We will also show coding information here if we have it .
For past medications, we also show previous courses of the same medication, if that information came from the same source.
How do I add medications to my record?
Click 'Add medication' from the Medicines page.
Complete the form & click ‘Save’.
Please note:
Only the name of the medicine is mandatory - all other fields are optional.
You can enter the start or end date in manually DD/MM/YYY, or click on the calendar icon to pick a date from the pop-up calendar.
When you enter the medication dates, please be careful to put the start and end dates in the correct boxes.
How do I make changes to medications?
Click 'Edit' or 'Delete' beside the medication. You can only edit or delete medications that you have entered yourself. If you have not entered the medication but need it to be changed, please see our Reporting incorrect data page.
How do I change the privacy of medications?
Click on the pencil icon beside the privacy label of the medication. Note: changing the privacy may result in some professionals and carers no longer being able to view the medication.

How do I discuss a medication?
Select one or more medication(s) and click 'Discuss selections'.
