Remote Working Best Practices
Remote working has become a vital and flexible part of modern healthcare operations. At Patients Know Best (PKB), we’ve always operated remotely and are fully equipped to support your teams throughout your PKB deployment — wherever you're working from.
We understand that remote working may be new for many in health and care services, so we’ve outlined key ways we make collaboration easy and effective.
How We Work with You Remotely
Before the Meeting
Every meeting invite includes a clear agenda — we welcome feedback in advance to ensure meetings are focused and productive.
We share an open document for live note-taking, discussion, and action tracking — used before, during, and after the meeting.
Any relevant documents are attached directly to the invite for easy access.
During the Meeting
We use Google Meet for video calls — we understand connection issues happen and will help troubleshoot if needed.
We can work with any video call system
We always start on time and respect your time, just as we would in person.
We’re mindful of background noise and ask participants to mute when not speaking.
We encourage clarity — feel free to pause, repeat, or confirm any points to ensure shared understanding.
After the Meeting
A follow-up summary with key notes and actions is always shared after each meeting.
If anything needs clarifying or adjusting, we’ll gladly update the notes to ensure everyone is aligned.
PKB is here to make remote collaboration easy, respectful, and effective. We’ll work flexibly to fit your schedules, support your teams, and keep everything moving — no matter where you're based.
