Bleepa
Feedback Medical’s Bleepa® is an end-to-end elective care solution that provides a digital alternative to traditional outpatient services, with upfront diagnostic tests and remote access to NHS specialists, resulting in faster care and a reduction in unnecessary waits and appointments.
Bleepa can be accessed by a range of clinicians for patient referrals, diagnostic requests, clinical communication and patient pathways in both primary and secondary care, from GP practices to community diagnostic centres and hospital sites. It is a secure, fully compliant UKCA-marked medical device certified for review of medical grade images.
The integration with Bleepa and Patients Know Best (PKB) allows clinician-reviewed information and patient questionnaires to surface seamlessly within Bleepa, reducing the need for multiple logins while improving the quality and speed of patient care.
The workflow below outlines an Insomnia pathway example, but the integration could be applied to other pathways.
Referral confirmed and pathway shared
When a referral is accepted by the organisation, a confirmation of that referral can be sent to the patient. Similarly further down the clinical pathway, reminders or signposting documents can be sent to the patient, to help them navigate the pathway.
When the documents are sent to the patient, PKB will notify them there is a document to view. The documents will appear in the “Events & messages”.

Sending and completing the questionnaire
Bleepa automatically sends the relevant questionnaires directly to the patient’s PKB record. The patient is notified immediately and can find these in the Events & messages section of both the PKB website and the NHS App.
To submit their answers, the patient clicks the link in their notification message or logs into PKB. Importantly, patients can complete these questionnaires right away, and are then prompted to register for their PKB record, if not already.

Reviewing patient answers in Bleepa
After the patient completes the relevant questionnaires in PKB, the information syncs automatically with Bleepa. When it's time to review the patient's case, clinicians can find all the submitted answers organised within Bleepa’s Documentation tab, making triage quick and easy.
