Drop-down and Collapsible Sections in PKB Care Plans

Drop-down and Collapsible Sections in PKB Care Plans

Why

PKB has enhanced the functionalities within our care plan feature, allowing teams to add collapsible sections. These:

  • Improve accessibility: Use hyperlink references for phone numbers to enable one-click appointment initiations from the care plan, ideal for PIFU (Patient-Initiated Follow-Up) and virtual appointment management.

  • Enhance patient experience: Teams requested collapsible content to make information more digestible, presenting "bite-size info" that makes care plans appear shorter while maintaining accessibility to all relevant information.

  • Support better self-management: These features are part of PKB's ongoing efforts to improve care plan functionality and user experience, enabling better patient engagement and self-management.

What

Customised Dropdowns

  • Provide colour-coded dropdown lists to enhance visual clarity and facilitate easier selection.

  • These dropdowns can be configured with different colours to improve quick selection and visual understanding.

Collapsible Sections

  • Enable teams to add expandable/collapsible content areas within care plans using HTML <details> and <summary> tags.

  • This feature helps organise information efficiently, making care plans appear shorter while keeping all information accessible as needed.

How

To customise care plan templates with these features, start by creating a care plan document that includes the necessary content, images, and links. Share this document with your Success PM, who will collaborate with you to develop a tailored HTML-based plan. They will then submit the care plan request internally through the PKB care plan request process.

For a comprehensive list of HTML tags and CSS attributes applicable to care plans, please refer to the Care Plan HTML and CSS Usage Guide.
