Patients Know Best (PKB) has joined forces with Sano Genetics and Neuron23 to provide patients with direct access to NEULARK, a pioneering clinical trial for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Through this partnership, PKB aims to simplify the path to research, empowering patients to explore new clinical opportunities and contribute to the future of Parkinson's care.

The opportunity

Sano Genetics and Neuron23 are working on NEULARK, a clinical trial opportunity for people who are:

• Aged 40-80

• Have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease

• Are not currently taking dopamine replacement therapy

Eligible participants will be asked to provide an at-home, non-invasive saliva sample for genetic testing.

Their sample will be tested for specific genetic markers that about 30% of Parkinson's patients have. The outcome of this test will decide whether the person is eligible for referral to the NEULARK investigational clinical trial.

Participation is completely cost-free, patients can withdraw at any time, and participants will get access to:

• No-cost genetic testing for the relevant genetic pathway

• If eligible, a referral to a NEULARK clinical trial site in the UK

• No-cost 1:1 genetic counselling to discuss your results
