The banner will be customised to fit your trial. The sections that can be customised are detailed below.

Team and Organisation Name

The PKB team and organisation name are highlighted in orange (see screenshot above). These will appear in the banner title to identify your organisation and are populated automatically:

  • Organisation name will be the name of your PKB organisation.

  • Team name will be the name of the PKB team in your organisation that is linked to this trial.

Team Information Field

This text will appear on the banner and also on the team sharing page (see below) that a patient sees when they click to share their record from the banner. The team information field is highlighted in purple.

Your Team Information field must:

  1. Be focused specifically on one type of trial. For example:

    1. X is currently connecting patients with a clinical trial. Read more about this trial [here](link to more info).

  2. Make sure it’s clear what happens if a patient shares their record with your team. Patients need to know how you will access their record, what will happen to their data and how you will communicate with them. For example:

    1. If you share your medical record, the NorthernSouthern CRO will:

      1. Contact you to discuss your interest and review your record

      2. Check your eligibility by storing relevant parts of your record in their research database.

  3. Use around 300 characters and do not use more than 800 characters.

  4. Include a link to further information about your trial.

Example

RNS School of Medicine is currently connecting patients with suitable brain cancer clinical trials. Read more about these brain cancer trials [here](link to more info).

If you choose to share your record, the RNS School of Medicine will:

  • Contact you to discuss your interest and review your record

  • Check your eligibility by storing relevant parts of your record in their research database.

Why Am I Seeing This? Section

We recommend including some information on why the patient has been matched to the trial. A short summary of your criteria explains to the patient why they have been matched to your trial. This information is highlighted in blue.

  • Do not use more than 150 characters.

    • Example: 'The team is looking for patients aged 40-70 with a diagnosis of brain cancer.'
